From an observation to an energy operator.
AXORI was born from observing an Italian paradox: the country has 30 GW of installed PV, but only 60% is in the hands of large utilities. The remaining 40% — about 18 GW scattered across SMEs, farmers and small funds — can't even sell its energy on the wholesale market because it lacks the trader licence.
The result: they sell to the grid operator at a fixed tariff, leaving 16-20% of the value of their energy on the table. And anyone with a battery has almost no market at all without dispatching qualifications.
We built AXORI to be the place where surplus energy finds a buyer: the plant stays theirs, and so does the contract. We do not buy the energy and we do not sell it — we put the two sides in touch, and we measure how much there actually is. The customer earns more, we take a fee on what we generate, and Italian renewable energy reaches its true market price.
